What We’re Doing & Why It Matters

• Raising Hope: Arise & Walk is more than a stroll—it’s a community-wide signpost that real change happens when people walk alongside each other.
• Fueling the Mission: Proceeds go directly into our Capital Campaign—funding a future-owned space that lets us focus resources on families, not rent.
• Building Community: Last year, 51 walkers from 9 churches (and 6 joyful pups!) came together to raise $7,020—67% of our monthly target of $10,417. Full campaign goal? $500,000 over 4 years ($10,417/month to meet the mark).

Peer-to-Peer: The Superpower Behind the Walk

What is it? Every walker gets a personal fundraising page—think of it as your digital megaphone. You share your why, your page, and then invite people to give.

Why it matters?

• A $25 ask from you is powerful.
• Ten $25 asks from you are revolutionary.
• You’re not just raising money—you’re building awareness, weaving others into our story of hope in Christ.

How it works:

The Bridge to Hope’s “Arise & Walk!” 2026

 We are thrilled to announce our upcoming event, “Arise & Walk!” – a charity walk that aims to raise funds and awareness for our ministry.

 Our goal is to raise $10,417 to support our mission to provide safe and stable housing for homeless single mothers.

Why $10,417?

 At The Journey to Hope dinner held in November 2023, we shared our plans to launch a Capital Campaign of $500,000 over four years.  That is a big endeavor for our   ministry.  $10,417 is what we much raise each month to reach our goal of $500,00.  How do we do it…one step at a time!

 The funds will be used towards the purchase our own property, allowing us to avoid expensive rental fees. By owning our own space, we can invest more resources into our   mission, rather than to landlords’.  A property where we can build a community where mothers do the hard work of exiting homelessness, learning their value in Christ.

Creating a Team, Joining a Team, and Inviting Your Network!

 We welcome you to join us on Saturday, January 24th, and help us achieve our goal! You can participate by creating a team or joining an existing one. Inviting your network to   support you will also help us reach our target.

You Make a Difference!

 We are committed to providing safe and stable housing for homeless single mothers, and we believe that with your help, we can achieve our goal! You make a difference and   provide hope for those who need it the most.

Share the Word and Make a Difference!

 Spread the word on social media and let others know how they can be involved in this Kingdom work. Encourage them to donate their resources and join us in our mission to   provide a home for single mothers overcoming homelessness. Remember, with God’s help, there is no limit to what we can accomplish!
